As part of the implementation of its five-year strategy 2025–2030, particularly its third strategic pillar on promoting a culture of integrity, strengthening participatory citizenship, and structured openness toward young people, civil society, and the media, the National Authority for Probity, Prevention, and the Fight Against Corruption, in partnership with the Ministry of National Education, Preschool Education, and Sports, launched on Monday, February 2, 2026, the first phase of the “Ajial Anazaha” program at the Regional Academy of Education and Training of Fez-Meknes. The launch ceremony was held in the auditorium of the regional training and conference center in Fez.

This program translates national anti-corruption commitments into action and illustrates the link between law enforcement and a sustainable preventive approach, through investment in education and the transmission of values, which are deemed fundamental pillars for shaping a society firmly opposed to corruption and resilient to its practices.

The program aims to instill the values of integrity, transparency, and civic responsibility among students through an innovative, participatory, and interactive educational approach that includes artistic and cultural activities as well as outreach school visits. This initiative seeks to raise awareness of integrity-related concepts and discourage corrupt practices, while fostering a healthy and safe educational environment conducive to critical thinking, free expression, and enabling civic engagement.

The opening session began with speeches outlining the event’s objectives, delivered by Ms. Naïma Benouakrim, a member of the Authority's Council and coordinator of the standing committee responsible for developing education and training on the values of integrity and transparency, and for monitoring the development of channels for interaction and partnership with stakeholders, civil society, and the media; Mr. Fouad Rouadi, Director of the Regional Academy of Education and Training of Fez-Meknes; and Mr. Abderrahim El Ayadi, representative of the Ministry of National Education, Preschool Education, and Sports. Overall, the speakers stressed the key role of public schools in shaping values and the need for greater institutional synergy to achieve a long-lasting impact of anti-corruption policies.

On the first day, the program also includes a training workshop for a group of educational leaders from the region, focusing on recent developments in national anti-corruption mechanisms, an analysis of the challenges of teaching values in the digital era, and a presentation of the methodology for implementing the “Ajial Anazaha” program in schools, further consolidating the role of teachers as key actors in promoting a culture of integrity in schools.

At the operational level, the program’s field activities will take place from February 3 to 6, 2026, in several schools under the provincial directorates of the region. They will target primary education as well as the common core of secondary education, illustrating the role of schools as a strategic space for building civic awareness and preventing behaviors that undermine integrity.

This initial pilot phase covers the Regional Academies of Fez–Meknes, Casablanca–Settat, and Draa-Tafilalet. Following a rigorous evaluation of its outcomes, the program will be gradually expanded to all Regional Academies of Education and Training during the 2026–2027 and 2027–2028 school years. This expansion will take place within the framework of a sustainable strategic partnership between the National Authority for Probity, Prevention and the Fight against Corruption and the Ministry of National Education, Preschool Education, and Sports, reflecting a strong institutional commitment to making integrity education a central pillar of societal reform and strengthening good governance.
