Standing Commissions

The Council of the Authority may establish any standing or ad hoc commission to support the fulfilment of its mandate. The composition and attributions of these commissions are determined by a decision of the Council.

Pursuant to a resolution adopted during its third session, held on 16 December 2022, the Council of the Authority established five standing commissions, each entrusted with a thematic mandate of strategic importance:  :

This Council’s decision defines the mechanisms and procedures governing the relations between the standing commissions and the Authority’s administrative structures, in order to ensure effective communication with them and to provide them with the necessary data and information for the fulfilment of their thematic missions. In this respect, the Authority’s publications, including reports, publications studies, as well as all the available data, were made at the disposal of these commissions.

The works of the commissions focus, first of all, on reviewing and discussing a number of topics, including the National Integrity Portal, strategic monitoring, evaluation of the national anti-corruption strategy, education, training and interaction with citizens, the Authority’s opinion on the draft of the Criminal Procedure Law and its opinion on the system of mandatory declarations of assets.
