Executive Commission

The Executive Commission is a permanent commission composed of the President and three Vice-President appointed by the Council from among its members. The Commission is entrusted with the following responsibilities:

It is worth mentioning that the election of the Authority’s three vice-chairmen took place during the 3rd session of the Council held on December 16, 2022.

Acting within the framework of coordination and complementarity with the standing commissions, the Executive Commission has defined its strategic priorities, together with the specific mandates delegated by the President of the Authority to each of the three Vice-Presidents.

 

 

  • First strategic area: (1) Conducting a comprehensive review and formulating proposals to strengthen the national institutional framework for public audit and oversight of public sector management; (2) Developing and operationalizing a structured networking approach to enhance the activities of the Observatory and to promote strategic partnerships in this field.

 

  • Second strategic area: (1) Overseeing the development and institutionalization of a legal monitoring framework, to serve as a key mechanism in informing the recommendations and guidance issued by the Commission; (2) Monitoring and advancing the alignment of national legislation and institutional systems with the international conventions, treaties, and commitments to which the Kingdom is party in the area of corruption prevention and the fight against corruption; (3) Contributing to and supporting the development of a comprehensive national strategy for educational and social outreach aimed at fostering the values of probity and integrity.

 

  • Third strategic area: (1) Providing strategic guidance and support for the structuring of the Authority’s corps of officers, with a focus on finalizing the organization of their activities and clarifying the normative and procedural framework governing their interventions; (2) Developing and strengthening coordination and cooperation mechanisms with competent authorities and institutions involved in investigations and inquiries conducted by the Authority’s officers; (3) Contributing to and supporting the design of approaches and mechanisms for risk identification and techniques for detecting acts of corruption.
